Fraud Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Kampala, Uganda. Workplace type: Onsite.

hirify.global is an off-grid solar energy company combining solar products, fintech, PAYG financing, and field operations to expand access to affordable energy.

What you will do

• Investigate fraud-related activities, including tampering, identity theft, impersonation, and scams.
• Work with field teams and call center staff to identify fraudulent cases and follow them through closure.
• Coordinate with law enforcement agencies on reported fraud and tampering cases.
• Serve as a company witness in legal cases arising from field activities.
• Prepare regular field fraud reports, escalate findings, and educate staff about fraud risks and their business impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma in criminal justice, criminology, sociology, psychology, security studies, risk management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in fraud analysis or a related role.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Good people, planning, organizational, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
