Senior Manager of Cybersecurity

What you will do

• Lead the cybersecurity function and local cybersecurity team in Brazil, aligning country priorities with the Group cybersecurity roadmap.
• Protect local projects, applications, information, and business activities through risk assessments, security audits, controls, and mitigation measures.
• Coordinate cybersecurity incident response, internal and customer communications, escalation, crisis exercises, and remediation actions.
• Maintain visibility of cybersecurity risks, anomalies, vulnerabilities, regulatory compliance, and ISO 27001 certification.
• Assess supplier and third-party security risks and support cloud security, data classification, and information-protection activities.
• Report cybersecurity initiatives, risks, incidents, remediation progress, preparedness, and KPIs to senior local management and regional security leadership.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of cybersecurity experience, including at least 3 years in a cybersecurity management role.
• Professional working English at conversational level is required.
• Strong experience in cybersecurity risk management, incident response, crisis exercises, and implementing global requirements in a local environment.
• Knowledge of threat modeling, risk assessments, regulatory frameworks, vendor risk management, cloud security, security controls, incident management, and data protection.
• Leadership, communication, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and continuous-learning skills.

Nice to have

• CISSP or an equivalent certification.
• Experience in financial services, digital banking, or payments.
• Experience with fraud screening or collaboration with fraud departments.
