Activision 2027 Summer Internships - Environment Art (Game Art)

Location: In-person in Woodland Hills, California, US. Applicants must currently reside in the US or be open to relocating to the US. The internship lasts 12 weeks and starts in mid-May or mid-June.

Salary: $20.00–$50.00 hourly.

hirify.global develops, publishes, and distributes interactive entertainment, including the Call of Duty franchise.

What you will do

• Help build compelling 3D environments for the Call of Duty franchise.
• Support world-building across gameplay, art, and storytelling.
• Create environment models and textures using traditional modeling and texturing workflows.
• Participate in critique sessions and implement feedback.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a certificate, associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s program and graduating between May 2027 and June 2028.
• Available for a 12-week, in-person internship beginning in mid-May or mid-June.
• Currently residing in the US or willing to relocate to the US.
• Experience with 3DS Max, Maya, or ZBrush, plus strong 3D modeling and texturing skills.
• Experience with Unreal or Unity and an understanding of composition, form, color, and light.
• Resume and portfolio or reel link required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Photoshop, Substance, or Houdini.
• Portfolio focused on contemporary, photorealistic 3D environment work.
