AVP SRE and Cloud Solutions (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in Arlington or Irving, Texas, United States, with three days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Define and execute the Platform Site Reliability Engineering strategy, roadmap, standards, and operating model.
• Lead responsible adoption and governance of agentic AI, AIOps, intelligent automation, and autonomous operational capabilities.
• Build automated controls and intelligent agents for reliability, security, operational readiness, vulnerability remediation, technology debt, cloud cost optimization, and non-functional requirements.
• Drive resilient, self-healing systems, observability, incident management, service ownership, runbooks, SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, and operational metrics.
• Improve availability, scalability, recoverability, MTTR, alert quality, customer impact, and operational efficiency while reducing manual toil.
• Build and lead SRE and SRA teams through coaching, succession planning, technical development, and executive incident leadership.

Requirements

• Experience leading Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, Operational Excellence, or comparable technology organizations.
• Leadership experience in agentic AI, AIOps, intelligent automation, governance, security, human oversight, and auditability.
• Deep knowledge of observability, incident and problem management, resiliency engineering, operational readiness, technology risk, SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, and toil reduction.
• Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, DevOps automation, policy as code, test automation, vulnerability remediation, and cloud cost optimization.
• 7–10 years of IT industry experience, including 3–5 years of technical leadership in large enterprises and 2–4 years of early software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience; ability to work a flexible schedule and travel on a limited basis.
