Network & Systems Support Specialist Trainee

Location: Canada; ideal locations are Regina or Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Regular and punctual attendance at the assigned work location is required.

What you will do

• Install, modify, repair, and support personal computer hardware and software systems.
• Analyze and troubleshoot regional application, network, server, and user issues.
• Deploy computers, mobile devices, and IT services at new sites and locations across North America.
• Coordinate with global IT resources and escalate network-related issues to the appropriate product owner.
• Support asset management, equipment logistics, infrastructure standardization, and security procedures.
• Provide technical assistance, training, and professional support to end users and outside customers.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in Canada.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a similar field is highly preferred.
• Approximately two years of relevant work experience, preferably in an industrial environment.
• Knowledge of desktop and laptop systems, WANs, LANs, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, switching, firewalls, routing, MFA, and SSO.
• Working knowledge of backup procedures, DHCP, DNS, and Microsoft servers.
• Valid driver’s license, verifiably safe driving record, valid passport, and access to a reliable vehicle suitable for business travel.
