Pharmacy Pre-Grad Intern - WM

Location: Onsite at 3320 Lorna Rd, Hoover, Alabama 35216, United States

Hourly wage: $20.50–$33.50 per hour, with possible performance-based bonuses and regional pay adjustments.

What you will do

• Process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
• Provide patient care by recognizing patient needs and helping navigate clinical therapies.
• Maintain confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records in accordance with company, local, state, and federal requirements.
• Receive and stock merchandise and pharmacy supplies.
• Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
• Support community activities, outreach, and events.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical care and pharmacy best practices.
• Ability to build relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
• Ability to respond to individual patient needs.
• Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.

Nice to have

• Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification.
