Technical Competitive Intelligence Analyst (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Analyze competitor products, architectures, technology stacks, and key features.
• Gather and synthesize intelligence from field input, customer feedback, analyst reports, and public sources.
• Track competitor product updates, announcements, strategies, and emerging market disruptors.
• Work with R&D, Product Management, Sales, and Marketing to identify differentiation opportunities and inform roadmap decisions.
• Create technical competitive assets, including deep-dive reports, battlecards, and technical comparisons.
• Support technical benchmarks that compare Cyera’s products with competitors and identify technical risks.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in technical analysis, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, or related domains.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, data protection, and SaaS platforms.
• Familiarity with data protection, DSPM, DLP, and AI-security markets.
• Ability to break down complex technical systems and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical, skeptical approach to marketing claims and unsupported narratives, with strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
