Lead Engineer, Cloud Platform, Azure (Hybrid)

Location: Hybrid role based in East Berlin, Connecticut, or Westwood, Massachusetts; at least three days per week in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Availability for up to five office days, emergency restoration assignments, and travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire is required.

What you will do

• Design and implement Azure Landing Zone hub-and-spoke architectures, management groups, subscription structures, tagging strategies, budgets, and cost controls.
• Architect secure Azure networking with Virtual WAN, Virtual Network Manager, IP address management, network virtual appliances, firewalls, DNS, and ER/VPN connectivity.
• Build Infrastructure as Code and automated provisioning workflows with Terraform, Ansible, and Harness.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using DevSecOps principles for secure and reliable cloud deployments.
• Configure centralized monitoring and logging with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
• Collaborate through GitHub, JFrog Artifactory, and Jira while developing automation scripts in Bash, PowerShell, and Python.

Requirements

• Eight to ten years of experience in technical engineering or related technology and application solutions work, including architecture, design, implementation, support, and management.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related technical discipline, or equivalent related experience.
• Experience with Azure Landing Zones, Azure Policy, RBAC, Azure AD, conditional access, Azure networking, and firewall technologies.
• Experience with Harness, Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics.
• Must be able to work from the designated Connecticut or Massachusetts location and meet the hybrid office attendance requirements.
