Site Reliability Engineer (Java, Unix, Dynatrace and Splunk) (FinTech): Operating and improving reliable, scalable software applications across production environments with an accent on observability, automation, incident management, and performance. Focus on building monitoring dashboards, automating operational tasks with scripts and infrastructure tools, and solving complex availability and stability challenges across distributed systems.
Location: Bangalore, Chennai, or Pune, India; Australia shift timings

What you will do
- Improve scalability, high availability, performance, stability, and reliability of software applications.
- Monitor production environments and maintain a holistic view of system health and service availability.
- Build observability dashboards using tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, and Dynatrace.
- Manage incidents, perform root-cause analysis, participate in blameless postmortems, and implement post-incident improvements.
- Develop PowerShell, Python, and shell automation to reduce operational toil and resolve recurring issues.
- Measure and optimize system performance while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience supporting Unix, Linux, or Windows application environments.
- Experience with application support, system and application monitoring, and observability tools including Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, and Dynatrace.
- Knowledge of at least one relational or NoSQL database.
- Hands-on experience with PowerShell, Python, or shell scripting automation.
- Knowledge of containers, Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift, plus exposure to cloud and DevOps technologies.
- Experience using Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation and managing third-party tools.
