Due Diligence Specialist

Location: Belgrade, Serbia; hybrid work after successfully passing the probation period

What you will do

• Manage due diligence cases end-to-end, including First Line Assessment, Second Line Assessment, and Enhanced Due Diligence.
• Conduct risk-based assessments in line with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
• Review junior colleagues’ work for accuracy, completeness, and quality before escalation.
• Manage client onboarding, ongoing monitoring, case workflows, and pipeline activities.
• Maintain complete audit trails and accurate documentation for due diligence decisions.
• Support junior colleagues through guidance and training, and contribute to process improvement.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in due diligence, AML, KYC, compliance, or financial services.
• Solid knowledge of AML/KYC, due diligence, compliance practices, and risk-based assessment.
• Strong analytical, investigative, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across teams.
• Professional working proficiency in English required.
• High school diploma required; a university degree is preferred. Good knowledge of MS Office required.
