Solutions Engineer (Payments)

Location: Australia; remote role

What you will do

• Work with the sales team to identify merchant pain points and explain how hirify.global can address them.
• Provide technical expertise during business development and client engagements.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and explain complex concepts in clear language.
• Lead discovery sessions, solution design workshops, product demonstrations, and developer Q&A sessions.
• Collaborate with Product to identify feature enhancements and new capabilities based on market feedback.

Requirements

• Experience in a merchant-facing role involving a complex API product, ideally in payments.
• Confidence leading discovery sessions with technical stakeholders at large merchants.
• Strong understanding of technology and the ability to understand, explain, and design complex technical specifications.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Creative, adaptable, collaborative, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced scaling environment.
