TL;DR

Director of Engineering (Core Technology): Leading and managing the Core Technology department, driving engineering strategies aligned with business objectives and overseeing project delivery. Focus on mentoring engineering teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, and aligning engineering efforts with the company's long-term vision.

Location: Hybrid role based in our Cyprus office, located in the vibrant city of Limassol. Relocation package available for Cyprus and Tbilisi offices.

What you will do

  • Lead and mentor engineering teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement engineering strategies aligned with company business objectives.
  • Oversee recruitment, development, and retention of engineering talent.
  • Ensure successful delivery of engineering projects within scope, time, and budget.
  • Provide technical guidance and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, design, and operations to deliver high-quality products.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of software development methodologies, cloud computing, DevOps practices, and system architecture.
  • Proven ability to lead large teams, drive change, and manage complex projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to align engineering efforts with business strategy.

Nice to have

  • Experience or knowledge of finance and trading.
