The Finance – Accounting function supports payment transaction accounting, reconciliation, safeguarding, reporting, and financial controls.

What you will do

  • Own end-to-end accounting for acquiring payment flows, including transaction volumes, merchant fees, interchange, scheme charges, revenues, costs, receivables, payables, refunds, reversals, and chargebacks.
  • Oversee safeguarding, settlement, suspense accounts, and daily or periodic reconciliations across internal ledgers, processors, schemes, settlement accounts, and banks.
  • Investigate reconciliation breaks, define escalation thresholds, resolve complex settlement issues, and maintain audit-ready controls and documentation.
  • Review payroll accounting and reconciliations, and coordinate statutory deductions, payments, and submissions.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close, Lux GAAP and applicable IFRS reporting, CSSF reporting, audits, management information, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Establish scalable procedures and drive automation across payment accounting, reconciliation, safeguarding, and Finance systems.

Requirements

  • Experience with payment transaction accounting, settlement processes, safeguarding, and financial reconciliations.
  • Knowledge of Lux GAAP and, where applicable, IFRS.
  • Ability to support CSSF and other regulatory reporting related to safeguarding and payment activities.
  • Experience maintaining financial controls, audit evidence, procedures, and reconciliation documentation.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Finance, Product, Operations, Technology, processors, banking partners, and external providers.
  • Experience improving reconciliation tooling, automation, and Finance systems.
