Senior Engine Programmer (Unreal Engine)

Location: Full-time in-office position at the Stockholm studio, Sweden

What you will do

• Architect and implement core engine systems with a focus on low-level performance, memory efficiency, and console optimization.
• Maintain and evolve custom and forked UE4/UE5 engine branches while balancing new features with architectural stability.
• Profile and optimize game performance across console platforms.
• Mentor engine and rendering engineers, conduct code reviews, and establish engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with Technical Directors and production leads to assess feasibility and deliver complex game features.

Requirements

• Strong C++ expertise and extensive hands-on experience with game engine architecture.
• Experience with Unreal Engine 4 and/or Unreal Engine 5.
• Proven experience in low-level console optimization, profiling, and multithreaded systems development.
• At least one shipped Unreal Engine title for both PC and console platforms.
• Clear communication, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to supporting engineering teams.
