Field Engineering Manager, Specialist Solutions Architects (Data & AI)

What you will do

• Lead, hire, train, mentor, and develop a team of Specialist Solutions Architects.
• Support complex enterprise sales cycles, customer architectures, strategic accounts, and technical escalations.
• Deploy technical experts against critical customer use cases and drive regional consumption targets.
• Increase Databricks Platform adoption, support customer success, and reduce churn in strategic accounts.
• Partner with Field Engineering, Sales, Product Management, and Forward Deployed Engineering teams.
• Build team morale, career paths, and effective collaboration across technical and commercial functions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience leading Data & AI Engineering, technical pre-sales, or post-sales teams.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing data solutions with distributed computing, cloud data warehousing, MLOps, or Generative AI infrastructure.
• Experience with technical discovery, architecture design validation, structured POC/MVP management, and value-selling frameworks.
• Proven experience hiring, onboarding, mentoring, and promoting highly technical individual contributors.
• Native Korean proficiency is required.
• Business-level English is preferred.
