QC Laboratory Technician (GMP)

Location: Limerick, Ireland; onsite client facility. Full-time permanent position with a biweekly rotating shift pattern: 08:30–20:30, with four working days in Week 1 and two in Week 2.

What you will do

• Support QC laboratory personnel with water sampling, ad-hoc laboratory duties, and laboratory investigations.
• Log samples accurately and maintain laboratory documentation and records in line with right-first-time and GMP standards.
• Operate autoclaves, including load preparation, periodic checks, validated load patterns, and equipment checks.
• Perform routine, periodic, and ad-hoc cleaning and housekeeping in ISO-graded cleanroom-simulated areas, the laboratory, and associated equipment.
• Complete required training and maintain training records while supporting the training of colleagues when instructed.
• Escalate anomalies and non-conformances, respond to customer queries, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Relevant scientific qualification, ideally at degree or diploma level.
• Planning, organisational, accuracy, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Strong IT, data-entry, documentation, and record-keeping skills.
• Clear professional communication and ability to work effectively in a collaborative laboratory environment.
• Familiarity with pharmaceutical or laboratory operations, including GMP, documentation, autoclaves, and sample management.
• Ability to work the required biweekly rotating 08:30–20:30 shift pattern onsite in Limerick.
