Solutions Architect (FinTech)

Location: Limassol, Cyprus; hybrid schedule with 3 days from the office and 2 days from home

What you will do

• Define and maintain the technical architecture vision across client, CRM, website, trading, and internal service platforms.
• Lead the modernization of legacy applications and monolithic systems toward modular or service-based architectures.
• Design API architecture standards, integration patterns, and internal services connecting platforms and external systems.
• Guide Identity and Access Management architecture, including authentication, authorization, and user management.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Cloud, Security, DevOps, and Technology teams on solution design and technical feasibility.
• Document architecture, address technical debt and risks, mentor engineering teams, and promote resilience and long-term maintainability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software development and system architecture, including 2+ years in a Solution Architect or similar role.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with .NET technologies.
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems, legacy modernization, monolithic platforms, API architecture, and integration patterns.
• Knowledge of IAM frameworks such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, SSO, and RBAC, plus experience with microservices, service-oriented, or event-driven systems.
• Knowledge of TOGAF, cloud architectures, infrastructure practices, architecture documentation, and cross-functional technical communication.
