What you will do
- Lead, coach and develop the hotel leadership team to deliver strong operational performance and guest satisfaction.
- Drive financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, reporting and cost management.
- Oversee business planning, budget development and compliance with workplace health and safety, legislative and company requirements.
- Build relationships with local community groups, tourism partners and key stakeholders.
- Provide strategic oversight of the Cradle Mountain Wilderness Gallery in collaboration with the Gallery Manager.
- Champion a positive service culture and travel within Tasmania as required.
Requirements
- 5+ years of senior leadership experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager in hotel property management.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience managing budgets, forecasting and operational performance.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent organisational, planning, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in remote-area tourism or hospitality operations and a hands-on, adaptable leadership style.
- Current Working with Vulnerable People check, ability to hold licensee accreditation and first aid certification.
