What you will do
- Lead and mentor a team of validation engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Define validation strategies, test plans, methodologies, and coverage for FPGA development tools.
- Oversee test environments, test benches, and automation frameworks.
- Collaborate with software development, architecture, and product marketing teams on requirements and validation coverage.
- Analyze complex technical issues, debug failures, and report risks, status, and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement in validation processes, tools, and techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in FPGA development, verification, or validation, with a focus on software tools.
- 3+ years of experience in technical leadership or team lead roles.
- Deep understanding of FPGA architectures, RTL-to-bitstream design flows, and validation methodologies.
- Experience with major FPGA development tools, including /Intel and Xilinx/AMD tools.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Perl, or Tcl; automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Verilog or VHDL and simulation tools.
