What you will do
- Coordinate, execute, and monitor product launches, mid-cycle enhancements, and other launch projects across Asia.
- Own multiple plant and cross-regional launch activities and ensure compliance with Launch & Change processes and the Program Launch System.
- Support launches from Phase 0 through Phase 5, manage gate-exit deliverables, and ensure timely escalation of risks and roadblocks.
- Lead regional financial planning and budgeting, including profit plans, outlook budgets, project costs, and Capital Appropriation Requests.
- Develop regional launch teams through staffing assessments, coaching, mentoring, training, succession planning, and talent-pool development.
- Drive monthly launch-readiness reviews, onsite reviews, build events, and process standardization across Asia plants.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business or engineering.
- At least 10 years of experience in operations and project or launch management, including multi-country or regional responsibilities.
- Automotive manufacturing and logistics knowledge and experience.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, financial planning, and business-case skills.
- Good command of English in speaking, writing, reading, and listening is required.
- Ability to communicate effectively across multiple countries and organizational levels in Asia.
