UX Engineer (AI and Applications)

Develops and operates energy-efficient AI infrastructure and a large-scale GPU cloud platform across Asia Pacific, including AI factories, liquid cooling systems, energy management, AI software orchestration, and cloud services for training and deploying AI models.

What you will do

• Own end-to-end UX design and front-end experience quality for AI cloud, global operations, bare-metal, Kubernetes, and future X-as-a-Service products.
• Conduct user discovery and workflow analysis for AI researchers, ML engineers, developers, administrators, operators, support teams, and customers.
• Translate infrastructure workflows, technical constraints, telemetry, and user needs into journeys, information architecture, prototypes, interaction patterns, and production-ready interfaces.
• Design self-service experiences for GPU provisioning, Kubernetes environments, workload management, benchmarking, capacity planning, and operational troubleshooting.
• Create transparent and trustworthy interfaces for scheduler decisions, model-to-grid optimization, AI recommendations, agentic operations, approvals, audit trails, and rollback workflows.
• Build and maintain scalable design systems while partnering with product, AI, DevOps, platform, security, infrastructure, operations, and customer-facing teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in UX engineering, product design, interaction design, front-end engineering, or a comparable role.
• Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end delivery of complex web applications, cloud consoles, developer tools, control planes, data-intensive products, or operational dashboards.
• Strong capability in user journeys, information architecture, interaction models, usability testing, workflow mapping, and iterative product design.
• Proficiency with Figma or comparable product-design tools and experience contributing to component libraries, design systems, responsive applications, data visualizations, and accessible interfaces.
• Strong front-end engineering skills with TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Next.js, Vue, Angular, or equivalent technologies.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, bare-metal provisioning, distributed systems, observability, scheduling, GPU resources, AI/ML platforms, security-conscious UX, RBAC, auditability, and controlled actions.
