Contract Advisor (Oil & Gas)

Location: Jubail, Saudi Arabia

Global multi-energy client operating large-scale refining and petrochemical facilities, with a focus on operational excellence, HSE, advanced industrial operations, and reduced environmental impact.

What you will do

• Record contracting initiatives, decisions, and commitments in an auditable manner.
• Manage EPC contract administration, contractor correspondence, amendments, notices of default, and liquidated damages applications.
• Monitor contractor performance, contract effectiveness, HSSE practices, and cost management targets.
• Review extra work orders and claims, manage change orders, and prepare claim defense strategies and responses.
• Verify final financial statements and support completion certificate validation and handover to operations.
• Maintain contracting knowledge, lessons learned, and market knowledge related to contract execution.

Requirements

• Degree-qualified professional with a contracts and procurement background and prior commercial experience.
• At least 10–15 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including refining and petrochemical technologies.
• Experience in large-project EPCC phases and projects in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East.
• Experience negotiating contracts for operators, contractors, suppliers, or consultants.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills are required.
• Ability to work with contractors, project entities, auditors, and multinational, multicultural project teams.

• Knowledge of TotalEnergies–Saudi Aramco technical references.
