Activision 2027 Summer Internships - Audio Design

Location: Carlsbad, California, United States; all internships are conducted in person. Candidates must currently reside in the US or be open to relocating to the US. Relocation services and a living stipend are available.

Salary: $20.00–$50.00 hourly.

hirify.global develops and publishes interactive entertainment and video games, including Call of Duty, Crash Bandicoot, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, and Guitar Hero.

What you will do

• Create and implement interactive sound for games.
• Craft audio experiences that integrate story, personality, and gameplay.
• Work collaboratively with the audio and game development team.
• Respond to direction and contribute to a meaningful 12-week internship project.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a certificate, associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s program and graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Available for a 12-week internship starting in mid-May or mid-June 2027.
• Technically competent with relevant audio tools, processes, and sound theory.
• Experience using a digital audio workstation such as Reaper or Pro Tools.
• Experience creating and implementing interactive sound.
• Resume and portfolio or demo reel showing implemented audio projects required.
