Activision 2027 Summer Internships - UI/UX

Location: In-person in the United States; hosting locations are Treyarch in Playa Vista, California, and hirify.global in Middleton, Wisconsin. Candidates must currently reside in the US or be open to relocating to the US.

Salary: $20.00–$50.00 hourly, depending on experience, performance, and work location.

Activision develops, publishes, and distributes interactive entertainment, including major video game franchises such as Call of Duty, Crash Bandicoot, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, and Guitar Hero.

What you will do

• Create functional and sophisticated user experiences focused on player needs.
• Develop wireframes, user flows, and low-fidelity prototypes.
• Collaborate with multiple teams, designers, and other stakeholders.
• Share design work, receive feedback, and improve concepts throughout the process.
• Contribute to a meaningful project that impacts game development.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a certificate, associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s degree program and graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Available for a 12-week internship beginning in mid-May or mid-June.
• Currently residing in the US or open to relocating to the US.
• Proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite or comparable design tools.
• Strong creativity, graphic design knowledge, and understanding of user-centered design methodologies.
• Portfolio with UI/UX design or UI art-focused projects.
