Activision 2027 Summer Internships - Audio Design (Game Audio)

Location: In person at High Moon Studios in Carlsbad, California; candidates must currently reside in the US or be open to relocating to the US.

Salary: $20.00–$50.00 hourly

What you will do

• Create and implement interactive sound for game experiences.
• Craft audio experiences that integrate story, character personality, and gameplay.
• Work collaboratively with the audio and game development teams.
• Respond to creative direction and communicate problems, solutions, needs, and priorities.
• Complete a meaningful audio design project during the 12-week internship.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a certificate, associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s degree program and graduating between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Available for a 12-week internship starting in mid-May or mid-June 2027.
• Technically competent with relevant audio tools, processes, and sound theory.
• Experience using a digital audio workstation such as Reaper or Pro Tools.
• Experience creating and implementing interactive sound.
• Portfolio or reel showcasing implemented audio projects.
