Azure DevOps & Infrastructure Lead (Backbase)

hirify.global delivers a large-scale digital banking platform modernization initiative using Microsoft Azure and cloud-native technologies.

What you will do

• Architect and provision highly available production and non-production environments across Microsoft Azure regions, including disaster recovery capabilities.
• Configure Azure virtual networks, subnets, firewalls, routing, DNS, and enterprise connectivity.
• Coordinate Site-to-Site VPN connections with platform vendors and third-party service providers, validating IP ranges, routing, firewall rules, and connectivity requirements.
• Manage SSL/TLS certificate exchange through Azure Key Vault and coordinate Identity and Access Management approvals.
• Build and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Assess, transition, modernize, and manage vendor-controlled infrastructure and deployment pipelines for the client engineering team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of recent experience in DevOps and cloud infrastructure engineering.
• Senior-level expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and Azure DevOps.
• Deep understanding of enterprise networking, including VNets, Site-to-Site VPNs, firewalls, and DNS.
• Proven experience with GitOps, Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with containerized and microservices-based architectures.

Nice to have

• Experience securing cloud architecture in a highly regulated financial sector.
• Experience with OpenShift or Kubernetes.
• Experience in large-scale modernization or enterprise transformation projects.
