TL;DR
Product Manager (Fintech): Owning the product vision, roadmap, feature execution, and lifecycle management for Smart POS terminals, payment applications, and in-person acceptance solutions with an accent on feature parity, terminal lifecycle management, and payment compliance. Focus on scaling transaction volumes, improving transaction success rates, coordinating hardware and software deployments, and optimizing merchant satisfaction across African payment channels.
Location: Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria; candidates in Abuja and Lagos are considered

What you will do
- Define and execute the roadmap for physical-channel applications across Android, Linux, and traditional POS devices.
- Translate merchant feedback, field intelligence, and market dynamics into terminal payment solutions covering cards, PWBT, QR, loans, and agency banking.
- Lead merchant integrations, including for Business integrations and aggregator white-label setups.
- Enforce feature parity between legacy and new application builds, coordinating QA gatekeeping and regression prevention.
- Manage terminal certifications, firmware and application deployments, RKI, TMS updates, and OTA rollout strategies.
- Coordinate pilots and mass deployments with Sales, Operations, Customer Success, Engineering, QA, and MIS teams while monitoring transaction performance and terminal yield.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of product management experience in payments, fintech, or POS and terminal hardware environments.
- Experience defining and executing roadmaps for hardware-integrated or terminal-based software products.
- Experience with feature parity, QA gatekeeping, release processes, and merchant- or consumer-facing applications.
- Experience with terminal lifecycle management, certifications, firmware and application deployment, RKI, TMS, and OTA strategies.
- Working knowledge of card schemes, switching networks, PCI-PTS compliance, and local regulatory requirements.
- Ability to translate business needs into shipped features with Engineering, QA, MIS, and Commercial teams.
