What you will do
- Analyse requirements and plan, prioritise, and execute tests for product features and sprint bug fixes before release.
- Perform functional, regression, system, usability, UI, API, database, and automated testing.
- Report, triage, and monitor bugs through resolution while providing timely test progress updates.
- Create clear, repeatable test cases and help expand test coverage.
- Collaborate with engineering, professional services, and user experience teams during agile ceremonies.
- Suggest improvements to testing processes, system quality, and user experience, and mentor new QA engineers as needed.
Requirements
- 2+ years of software testing experience across functional, system, usability, and regression testing.
- Knowledge of recognised testing processes, SDLC approaches, and techniques including static, black-box, and white-box testing.
- Experience with API testing, database concepts, SQL queries, test data management, and interpreting system architecture documentation or diagrams.
- Familiarity with C#, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS technology stacks.
- Ability to design and plan tests, prioritise work, meet deadlines, and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
- Test automation exposure and familiarity with test management tools such as ADO, JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail, Quality Center, or Linear.
Nice to have
- Testing certification or bootcamp training, such as ISTQB, RST, or MoT.
- Test automation experience with Selenium, Playwright, UFT, RFT, Cypress, or Tosca.
- ERP system testing experience with SAP, Oracle, Infor, or D365 FinOps.
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts.
