QA Engineer II (Fintech)

What you will do

• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, scenarios, and test data from business and technical requirements.
• Plan, execute, and report manual testing across fintech products and services.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, user acceptance, and exploratory testing.
• Validate payment workflows, transaction processing, settlements, reconciliation, and financial reporting systems.
• Conduct API testing and validate integrations with internal and third-party financial systems.
• Manage defects, provide risk assessments, and recommend quality actions before releases while collaborating with product, engineering, business analysis, and compliance stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of fintech experience.
• Strong understanding of Agile QA practices, risk-based testing, defect analysis, and documentation.
• Strong manual and automated testing skills with Selenium, Postman, or Cypress.
• Ability to support PCI-DSS controls, secure handling of sensitive input fields, and compliance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
