What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, high-performance frontend applications for digital banking, payments, lending, wealth management, and related financial services.
- Build reusable frontend components with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Create interfaces for financial transactions, account management, reporting, and payment workflows.
- Integrate frontend applications with APIs, payment gateways, banking services, fraud prevention tools, and third-party financial platforms.
- Collaborate with product, design, backend engineering, and compliance teams on customer-focused solutions.
- Review code, troubleshoot production issues, and improve application performance, reliability, accessibility, and security.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of fintech experience and knowledge of financial systems and fintech products.
- Strong frontend development experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with secure application development, payment gateway and API integration, and Agile product development.
- Awareness of regulatory and compliance requirements, including PCI-DSS, the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, data privacy, accessibility, authentication, and authorization.
