Foundry Engineering Lead (Palantir Foundry)

What you will do

• Lead the architecture, technical strategy, governance, and long-term evolution of the Palantir Foundry implementation.
• Design and build scalable data pipelines integrating infrastructure, platform, and business-system data.
• Define data models, schemas, and ontology structures, and create a digital twin of the business.
• Build trusted datasets, metrics, semantic layers, and data contracts for self-service analytics and operational workflows.
• Implement data quality checks, monitoring, alerting, lineage, freshness, access controls, and security.
• Mentor engineers and analysts, conduct code reviews, and collaborate with Operations, Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, Product, and Commercial teams.

Requirements

• Deep hands-on expertise in Palantir Foundry, including ontology modelling, pipeline development, data architecture, and large-scale platform design.
• Technical leadership experience in data engineering, including architectural direction, mentoring, and standards development.
• Strong Python skills and experience with data engineering frameworks such as Spark, PySpark, Dask, or pandas.
• Experience with REST, GraphQL, Foundry Action APIs, Git-based development, code reviews, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with evolving requirements and a strong ownership mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, and infrastructure telemetry.
• Familiarity with distributed systems, monitoring data, or usage-based billing data.
• Experience supporting customer-facing data products or platforms.
