Junior Software Engineer

Junior Software Engineer (Web and Enterprise Software): Building, testing, documenting, and supporting software solutions across web, desktop, and client-server platforms with an accent on maintainable code, requirements analysis, and software development lifecycle practices. Focus on debugging moderately complex issues, designing reusable components, and collaborating with analysts, QA, project managers, and business stakeholders.

What you will do
- Develop, test, implement, and support software solutions across web, desktop, and client-server platforms.
- Participate in requirements review, design, construction, unit testing, documentation, and implementation support throughout the software development life cycle.
- Translate business and non-functional requirements into practical design deliverables and maintainable systems.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve moderately complex software issues.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA, technical leads, project managers, and business stakeholders on testing, planning, estimation, status updates, and issue resolution.
- Document technical solutions and communicate deliverables, risks, questions, and progress clearly.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Typically 0–3 years of software development experience, including internships, academic projects, bootcamps, or related professional experience.
- Foundational knowledge of one or more technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, C#, .NET, ASP.NET, SQL, XML, or related web development tools.
- Familiarity with web, desktop, client-server, Windows, SharePoint, or database-backed applications.
- Basic understanding of the software development life cycle, code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, willingness to learn, and effective collaboration skills.

- Experience with version control, Agile development practices, or collaborative software delivery tools.
