What you will do
- Own short-life projects from design and development through deployment, monitoring, and production maintenance.
- Analyze reliability and performance of Golang and Java applications.
- Contribute to technical architecture, capacity planning, SLO definition, and robust cross-team solutions.
- Conduct design and code reviews with the wider engineering organization.
- Collaborate with Frontend, DevOps, and Product teams to deliver backend features.
- Build scalable, reliable, and performant systems across complex cloud environments while improving observability and engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of backend engineering experience with a high-level programming language, ideally Golang and/or Java.
- Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, system design, and distributed systems.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, and/or Azure, as well as data-intensive systems, databases, event systems, and messaging systems.
- Experience with CI/CD and microservices-based architectures.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized environments.
- Knowledge of networking and cloud networking.
- Experience with distributed databases, messaging systems, or event-driven architectures.
- Background in cloud security, infrastructure, observability, or cybersecurity.
- Experience with eBPF or other runtime and cloud-native technologies.
