iOS Engineer II (FinTech)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, high-performance iOS applications for payments, banking, lending, savings, and investment products.
• Build mobile applications with Swift and modern iOS frameworks, following coding standards and architecture best practices.
• Integrate applications with RESTful APIs, payment gateways, financial platforms, and third-party services.
• Implement authentication, authorization, encryption, secure data storage, and other mobile security controls.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend engineering, compliance, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
• Maintain tests, troubleshoot production incidents, optimize performance, and contribute to architecture and technical design decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience building mobile applications, preferably in fintech or a regulated environment.
• Strong proficiency in Swift, the iOS SDK, and native iOS development.
• Experience with MVVM, Clean Architecture, API integration, backend connectivity, and financial services integrations.
• Knowledge of secure coding, authentication, mobile security, application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, App Store releases, PCI-DSS mobile-payment requirements, and the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
