What you will do

  • Design, implement, and optimize computational kernels for PDE solvers on modern CPU and GPU architectures.
  • Improve scalability, throughput, and computational efficiency of performance-critical components.
  • Translate mathematical models into efficient, vector-friendly algorithms with scientists, engineers, and researchers.
  • Profile and benchmark applications using performance counters, flame graphs, and related analysis tools.
  • Prototype numerical approaches in Python and develop production-ready C++ solutions.
  • Port and tune CPU kernels for GPUs while contributing to testing, reviews, and performance validation.

Requirements

  • At least 6 months of commercial experience with finite-difference, finite-volume, or finite-element methods.
  • Strong C/C++17 skills and experience writing SIMD-friendly, cache-aware code.
  • Experience with MPI or another distributed-memory programming model for large-scale numerical computing.
  • Knowledge of Linux performance-analysis tools such as perf, FlameGraph, or Intel VTune.
  • Experience with GPU architectures and CUDA or HIP, including porting CPU kernels to accelerators.
  • Technical English proficiency is required for daily collaboration, code reviews, and design discussions.
