Senior Manager, IT - ERP Basis (SAP Basis): Leading the stability, security, operational performance, and strategic direction of a large-scale SAP landscape with an accent on Azure-hosted environments, SAP BTP support, data archiving, upgrades, migrations, and governance. Focus on driving platform modernization, resolving vulnerabilities, improving performance, and coordinating enterprise support and delivery across infrastructure, security, application, and architecture teams.

What you will do
- Lead the SAP Basis function, including reliability, security, service quality, platform roadmaps, lifecycle planning, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee monitoring, incident response, patching, upgrades, refreshes, transports, performance tuning, SAP BTP support, and SAP data archiving.
- Manage external support partners and internal stakeholders through service governance, escalations, performance management, and accountability.
- Drive SAP Basis projects, infrastructure improvements, migrations, upgrades, capacity planning, resiliency, and platform modernization.
- Partner with security teams on vulnerability remediation, SAP security notes, certificates, TLS operations, audit readiness, and compliance.
- Communicate operational risks, remediation plans, dependencies, strategic priorities, and delivery status to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements
- Onsite role based in Bengaluru, India.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of technical and leadership experience supporting SAP Basis or similar enterprise platforms.
- Strong experience with SAP operations, upgrades, migrations, patching, transports, incident management, performance tuning, SAP BTP, Azure-hosted SAP environments, and ITSM processes.
- Knowledge of SAP security, audit, governance, compliance, Single Sign-On, TLS, certificate lifecycle management, Linux, Windows, and operating system scripting.
- Experience with ABAP and Java NetWeaver systems, S/4HANA, ECC, APO, EWM, BW, MII, Portals, Process Orchestration, SAP HANA, SAP ASE, SQL, and cross-functional technical delivery.
