VFX Artist (Mobile, Unity) (Game Development): Creating visual effects for characters, environments, and weapons in a mobile fighting game with an accent on physical impact, realistic or stylized visuals, and Unity implementation. Focus on writing shaders, building 3D VFX for strikes and other animations, playtesting effects, and optimizing them for mobile performance.

hirify.global develops Shadow Fight 4: Arena, a mobile fighting game with real-time synchronous PvP, PvE, social features, and console-quality visuals optimized for mobile devices.

What you will do

Create visual effects for characters, environments, and weapons.
Design effects that convey the physicality and power of strikes, hits, falls, and other animations.
Ensure gameplay actions are supported by clear and satisfying VFX.
Participate in playtesting and suggest improvements from a VFX perspective.

Requirements

Middle-level experience creating visual effects for realistic and/or stylized games.
Proficiency in Unity.
Ability to write shaders in code.
A portfolio containing 3D VFX is required.
Fluent Russian communication is required.

Nice to have

Experience creating flipbooks with frame-by-frame animations.
Strong artistic skills.
Experience optimizing visual effects.
