Senior Android Developer

Location: Hybrid in Lisbon, Braga, or Coimbra, Portugal

Salary: €2,200–€2,500 gross monthly, including fixed and variable compensation, meal allowance, remote-work allowance, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own complex epics end to end, from technical design and API contract negotiation through implementation and deployment.
• Build clean, idiomatic Kotlin code and modern responsive interfaces with Jetpack Compose.
• Maintain Clean Architecture and MVVM/MVI patterns in a modular Android codebase.
• Optimize memory usage, network performance, and application startup times.
• Improve Azure and Bitrise CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, scanning, and deployment.
• Lead unit and automated UI testing and resolve high-priority production issues across Android OS versions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant Android development experience.
• English at B2 level or higher is required; the full hiring process is conducted in English.
• Deep Kotlin knowledge, including Coroutines, Flow, and inline classes.
• At least 2 years of production experience with Jetpack Compose and strong Android SDK, Lifecycle, and WorkManager knowledge.
• Experience with Hilt or Dagger2, Retrofit, OkHttp, Apollo GraphQL, Room or SQLDelight.
• Expertise in JUnit, Mockito or MockK, Espresso or Compose Test, Google Play Console, App Bundles, and ProGuard/R8.
