Technical SEO Specialist (AI Search)

Location: Remote from Poland, Portugal, or Romania; candidates must already be based in and eligible to work from one of these countries. No relocation support is provided.

What you will do

• Own technical SEO health and the diagnostic backlog for two assigned marketplace categories.
• Audit crawlability, indexation, robots directives, Core Web Vitals, structured data, internal linking, JavaScript rendering, and crawl budget efficiency.
• Analyze search demand, competitor coverage, landing-page patterns, content gaps, and emerging search niches.
• Diagnose and resolve keyword and page cannibalization using Google Search Console and crawl data.
• Design scalable content, template, canonical, redirect, and URL architecture solutions with product and engineering teams.
• Apply GEO and AI-search insights to improve category-level content visibility and support the SEO/GEO roadmap.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on technical SEO experience on a large-scale platform, ideally a marketplace, classifieds platform, or e-commerce site.
• Strong experience with Screaming Frog, OnCrawl, or equivalent crawl tools; Google Search Console; BigQuery or SQL; and at least one SEO platform such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
• Ability to implement cannibalization fixes and write precise technical specifications for engineers.
• Working knowledge of HTML and JavaScript, including rendering implications, plus Python or automation scripting for SEO workflows.
• Experience participating in agile product ceremonies and collaborating directly with product and engineering teams.
• Preferred experience with faceted navigation, UGC-heavy platforms, multi-language or multi-market SEO, GEO, AI search, and page-template A/B testing.
