TL;DR
Senior Frontend Engineer (TrendLife) (React/Next.js, AI, cybersecurity): Architecting scalable frontend solutions and consumer security, privacy, and anti-scam experiences with an accent on AI-assisted development, performance, accessibility, analytics, and headless WordPress integrations. Focus on designing reusable GA4/GTM event schemas, reviewing AI-generated code for security and architectural fit, and building reliable testing and deployment pipelines.

What you will do
- Architect and deliver scalable frontend solutions with React, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Adopt AI-assisted development workflows and review generated code for security, accessibility, performance, and architectural fit.
- Design Core Web Vitals, SEO, responsive experience, and accessibility improvements aligned with WCAG.
- Build reusable GA4 and GTM event schemas, data layers, and user journey measurement systems.
- Design headless WordPress integrations using WPGraphQL and REST APIs, including CMS-to-frontend data flows.
- Improve testing, build, release, and CI/CD processes while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with product, design, backend, and marketing teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of professional frontend development experience building production systems.
- Deep proficiency in React/Next.js, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with scalable system design, Git, CI/CD, REST, GraphQL, analytics, and event tracking.
- Ability to use AI tools such as Claude or Gemini for development, research, and complex integrations.
- Good English and Chinese communication skills; the role is based in Taipei.
Nice to have
- Experience with headless CMS platforms, WPGraphQL, Contentful, or Sanity.
- Advanced GA4/GTM, SEO, testing, design systems, or multilingual frontend experience.
- Backend, Docker, deployment pipeline, infrastructure-as-code, or frontend security experience.
