Assistant Buyer (Nike)

What you will do

• Select commercial Nike range plans aligned with customer needs and department strategy.
• Develop range frameworks and brand plans with merchandising functions.
• Prepare and present reports on trends, forecasts, opportunities, category performance, and trade actions.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and price positioning.
• Build relationships with Nike, supply chain, marketing, sports category, and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Deputize for the Buyer, delegate work, and make decisions under pressure.

Requirements

• Experience as an Assistant Buyer or readiness to progress into the role.
• Strong organization, communication, initiative, and attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze performance and apply insights to future range building.
• Strong product awareness and understanding of the current market and competition.
• Ability to anticipate challenges, manage trading risks, and maximize best sellers.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model in London, United Kingdom.

Hiring process
