Location: Malaysia; hybrid work from the Malaysia office at least 3 days per week

What you will do
- Manage and grow social media presence across TikTok, Instagram, Threads, X/Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
- Monitor trends, viral topics, memes, internet conversations, and platform algorithm changes.
- Create timely, witty, relatable content while maintaining the brand image.
- Develop social media campaigns, content ideas, and content calendars.
- Engage with online communities, comments, and audience interactions.
- Collaborate with design and video teams, analyze performance, and optimize content strategy based on engagement and reach.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, internet culture, meme culture, online communities, and trending conversations.
- Excellent writing and communication skills in English, the main working language.
- Strong creativity, storytelling, humor, timing, and audience awareness.
- Ability to react quickly to trends and produce organic, relatable, and engaging content.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work from the Malaysia office at least 3 days per week.
Nice to have
- Experience managing brand social media accounts.
- Basic design, video editing, or content creation skills.
- Personal content creation or organic page growth on TikTok, Instagram, Threads, or X.
