TL;DR

What you will do

  • Own, develop, and maintain a native Android application using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
  • Build reusable Compose components and contribute to the modular application, networking, core, and design-system architecture.
  • Integrate backend APIs, authentication services, third-party SDKs, and identity-verification journeys such as Jumio.
  • Develop secure device and customer journeys aligned with Android security and fintech requirements.
  • Write unit, integration, and UI tests and participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
  • Support application flavors, environment-specific configuration, Android releases, Firebase App Distribution, and New Relic production monitoring.

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience with Kotlin and native Android development.
  • Production experience with Jetpack Compose, Android architecture, state-driven UI, and Hilt dependency injection.
  • Experience with modular Android applications, reusable components, backend APIs, authentication, identity services, and third-party SDKs.
  • Knowledge of Kotlin Serialization, KSP, Gradle Kotlin DSL, version catalogs, Android Studio, debugging, performance analysis, and Android testing frameworks.
  • Experience with Git-based collaboration, code reviews, Agile delivery, and strong communication and ownership skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Jumio or another KYC or identity-verification SDK.
  • Experience developing Compose design systems, component libraries, Firebase App Distribution, New Relic, product flavors, or environment-specific configuration.
  • Background in fintech, wallets, payments, or financial-services mobile applications.
  • Knowledge of Android CI/CD with Azure DevOps, Fastlane, release automation, or Kotlin Multiplatform.
