Building Automation Systems Engineer (KNX)

Location: Paphos, Cyprus; regular work on project sites

What you will do

• Operate, diagnose, and provide technical support for building automation systems.
• Commission and start up systems on new project sites.
• Configure and program KNX and DALI systems.
• Integrate and configure VRF/VRV, HVAC, and other building engineering systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment, communication buses, and control systems.
• Inspect installations, coordinate with engineering teams and contractors, and support system handover and maintenance.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with building automation systems and strong knowledge of KNX and DALI.
• Understanding of HVAC automation, including VRF/VRV systems, as well as power supply, lighting, ventilation, air conditioning, and low-voltage systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, technical drawings, and project documentation.
• Understanding of sensors, actuators, controllers, gateways, and network interfaces.
• Ability and willingness to perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and commissioning work on site regularly.
• Good English is required for professional communication and technical documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with BMS and smart building systems.
• Knowledge of Modbus, BACnet, or other building automation protocols.
