Ca Mau Program Manager (Climate Adaptation)

Location: Ca Mau Province, Vietnam; local nationals only. The role requires periodic travel to project target sites.

What you will do

• Lead engagement with government agencies, technical partners, communities, research institutions, enterprises, and development partners.
• Design and refine climate change adaptation activities for inclusion in annual workplans.
• Manage day-to-day implementation of approved activities and technical assistance initiatives.
• Coordinate delivery partners, consultants, service providers, and government counterparts.
• Implement monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities, including results frameworks, indicators, and monitoring approaches.
• Prepare activity reports, progress updates, briefing notes, partner reports, and donor reporting contributions.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in climate change, environmental management, agriculture, natural resource management, development studies, public policy, economics, international development, or a related discipline.
• Experience designing, managing, and delivering donor-funded programs and technical assistance initiatives.
• Experience working with government agencies in Vietnam, particularly at provincial and national levels, and demonstrated experience in Ca Mau.
• Strong knowledge of climate adaptation challenges and opportunities in the Mekong Delta.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement, partnership development, facilitation, project management, MEL, reporting, and adaptive program management.
• Professional fluency in English and Vietnamese, both written and spoken, is required. Candidates must be local nationals with valid work rights in Vietnam.
