Regional Lead of State Government Affairs (Healthcare Policy)

Location: United States state-level government affairs scope; 20–30% overnight travel required.

Salary: $152,000–$267,000 base compensation annually, plus eligibility for a company and individual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Develop and execute strategic lobbying plans supporting state legislation, policy objectives, and enterprise priorities.
• Communicate and promote company positions to governors, state legislators, public health officials, Medicaid stakeholders, insurance commissioners, and other state agencies.
• Build and manage relationships with state policymakers, political organizations, trade associations, patient advocacy groups, consultants, and contract lobbyists.
• Collaborate with Market Access, Alliance Development, Policy, Legal, Compliance, Medical, Sales, and other internal partners.
• Support state-funded health programs and patient access to hirify.global products.
• Address multistate policy challenges and mitigate initiatives that could negatively affect patients or the business.

Requirements

• Experience in state government affairs, public policy, lobbying, healthcare policy, or a related field.
• Ability to develop strategic government affairs plans and advocate directly with state and local officials.
• Experience building relationships with policymakers, public health organizations, trade associations, patient groups, and other external stakeholders.
• Ability to collaborate across Legal, Compliance, Market Access, Medical, Sales, and Policy functions.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to complete 20–30% overnight travel required.
• Must remain within hirify.global’s motor vehicle record points threshold.
