Software Developer/Analyst (PowerApps)

Location: Nairobi, IHUB, Kenya

Salary: US Pay Rate $85,000–$95,000 per year; UK Pay Rate £46,780–£55,552 per year. Exact offers depend on work location, experience, skills, labor market, internal equity, and budget.

What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, and roll out PowerApps and Power Automate solutions.
• Build and support data products for KPI collection, management, visualization, and decision-making.
• Create system diagrams, implementation manuals, and other technical documentation.
• Implement data quality processes, development standards, security controls, and system configurations.
• Provide Tier-2 and Tier-3 technical support, including issue routing, troubleshooting, and resolution.
• Collaborate with IT, data engineering, QA, product, and program teams on requirements and systems integration.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience developing and rolling out data platforms for programs.
• At least three years of experience developing, implementing, and supporting PowerApps applications for large and complex programs.
• Experience with source-code and version-control platforms such as GitHub or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Databricks, Dataverse connectors, APIs, and Microsoft Azure.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills are required.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Power Platform Developer certification.
• Experience with pair programming, shadow sessions, code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing.
