Leading Hand - Inventory (Aerospace)

Location: Auckland, New Zealand; onsite at a New Zealand office

What you will do

• Provide daily direction and support to Inventory Coordinators while driving throughput and DIFOT outcomes.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure systems reflect real-time stock movements.
• Deliver production kits and components on time, including fast-track and urgent orders.
• Resolve inventory-related issues and non-conformances as the first escalation point.
• Maintain an orderly warehouse aligned with 5S principles and lead workplace safety practices.
• Identify, lead, and embed continuous improvement initiatives while supporting Production Assembly, Logistics, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree, or High School Diploma.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading a small team in a high-paced environment.
• Competent and experienced forklift and reach truck operator.
• Strong organizational, communication, relationship-building, and IT systems skills, including experience with ERP platforms.
• For New Zealand roles, background and nationality checks apply because the position involves access to equipment and data regulated by ITAR.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, automotive, heavy manufacturing, or rapid-growth environments.
