SAP ABAP Developer (S/4HANA)

Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and support custom SAP enhancements, integrations, and reports.
• Analyze requirements and create technical designs for large enterprise SAP landscapes.
• Build ABAP solutions using core ABAP, ABAP OO, CDS views, AMDPs, and HANA-optimized techniques.
• Develop OData services and integrate SAP solutions with Fiori applications.
• Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, documentation, and post-go-live support.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of professional experience are stated for the position; the qualifications section requires at least 5 years of ABAP development experience with significant S/4HANA work.
• Strong hands-on experience with ABAP OO, CDS views, AMDPs, HANA-optimized ABAP, and S/4HANA architecture.
• Experience building OData services, integrating with Fiori, and using enhancement frameworks such as BADIs and user exits.
• Experience with IDoc, RFC, BAPI, Web Services, SAP module data structures, SAT, ST05, HANA diagnostic tools, Solution Manager, ChaRM, and SAP transport management.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with S/4HANA system conversions or greenfield implementations.
• Exposure to SAP BTP, ABAP RAP, or Steampunk.
• Hands-on Fiori/UI5 development experience.
• Familiarity with SAP CPI or Integration Suite.
• SAP-certified ABAP developer credentials.
