What you will do
- Direct an operational segment of civil engineering and implement strategic goals.
- Lead the study, design, specification, and delivery of transportation systems, bridges, infrastructure, drainage, utilities, water treatment, wastewater, tunnels, and geotechnical works.
- Supervise and lead engineers while setting technical standards and procedures.
- Manage performance, staffing, assignments, training, and the assigned engineering budget.
- Support civil engineering inspections, including MICT self-inspections, UEIs, EMS audits, and Staff Assistance Visits.
- Contribute to business development, opportunity assessment, best-practice sharing, and engineering award submissions.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship required.
- U.S. Secret Clearance required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture from an ABET-accredited institution or an approved equivalent.
- Professional Engineer or Registered Architect registration required.
- DoD installation-level working experience required.
- Ten years of relevant experience, including five years in supervision, covering engineering design, construction, maintenance, repair, operations, facilities planning, and civil engineering programs.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in Engineering.
